RAWVue is provided by FELS Industries LLC. Contact info@felsindustries.com for privacy questions or requests.
Photos and editing
RAWVue processes supported photographs on your device. The current app does not send your photographs or editing results to a FELS processing server. It has no RAWVue cloud account, advertising SDK, tracking service or app-operated analytics service. RAWVue does not overwrite original photographs or write editing sidecars beside source files.
Information stored on your device
RAWVue stores editing recipes, ratings, favorites, presets, imported LUTs, HDR drafts, preferences, source references and temporary previews or exports in local application storage. It reads relevant image metadata, including filenames, dimensions and camera information, to browse and process selected files. Some selected originals must be copied temporarily into app-owned storage.
Permissions and external providers
RAWVue uses Apple’s Photos and Files selection and permission systems. Reading selected RAW originals may require Photos read permission; saving finished images to Photos requires add permission. You can manage Photos permissions in iOS Settings.
iCloud Photos and Files providers may use the Internet to retrieve files that are not stored locally. Those services operate under their own privacy practices.
Export and sharing
Saving or sharing an image is your choice. Apple and any sharing or storage destination you select handle the resulting transfer under their own privacy practices. FELS does not receive an export simply because you use Quick Share. Copies saved outside RAWVue remain in that destination until you manage them there.
Retention and deletion
Local editing information remains until changed or removed, subject to device storage, backups and operating-system behavior. App controls have different scopes; resetting an edit does not erase all app data. Immutable LUT files may remain because saved edits reference them.
Temporary files are cleaned up according to their lifecycle. Cleanup may be delayed while an export is being shared or protected by a temporary lease. Deleting local app data does not delete exported copies or device backups. FELS has no remote mechanism in the current app to erase your device’s local files or backups.
Support communications
If you email us, FELS and its email service provider receive your message, contact details and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot and maintain support records, retaining it as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations.
You may request access, correction or deletion of support information at info@felsindustries.com, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary private photographs. RAWVue does not automatically send support attachments.
TestFlight
When you test RAWVue through TestFlight, Apple may collect and provide test-related information, crash reports and feedback under its TestFlight terms and privacy practices. Information or screenshots you submit through TestFlight are handled through Apple’s testing service, separately from RAWVue’s on-device image processing.
Privacy requests and changes
Contact info@felsindustries.com for privacy questions or to exercise rights available under applicable law. This policy covers the RAWVue mobile app and related support communications. The company website and external providers may have separate privacy practices.
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change.
